Halloween

Of course as it is Saturday, it means Ore-sama can hold a costume ball. Except as it is such short notice I doubt there will be many costumes. And no, there will be no fireworks this time as it is simply Halloween, which is more a Western European celebration than a Japanese one.

There will be mountains of candy. So please do attend unless you have other things...as I am aware that Yuushi is going to be spending time with his panda boyfriend

In other news, my stalker seems to have backed away for the moment. I haven't noticed it as much. Then again, I've had Kabaji with me...and Chinen. I think they think ore-sama can't handle a stalker. I've had them before, I'll have them again. It's really nothing to be worried about.

busy these days

With the Cultural faire looming in the distance, Ore-sama has been hard at work. Most know that I am usually in charge of placing of the booths and orginzing everything.

That means I am pulling longer hours at Hyotei and coming back home later. However, that feeling came back togfay as I was waiting for the driver to take me home. I think it's one of my more eager admirers. It happens every once in a while that one of the fan girls or fan boys start to stalk me a little. When Ore-sama discovers who it is, he will put them in their place.

It is not often I sped time doing not much of anything. Time doing nothing is a rarity for me. But today was such a date. I managed to get absolutely everything on my adjenda completed for the day, so I spent the rest of my day with my best friend and my dog. And no, for you plebians that had mess intelligence than shoe size, they are not the same.

Kabaji and I took Lexi out to a rather large dog park. Because Kabaji and I haven't hung out in a while. He's been busy with the play. It's strange. I'd grown so used to him right behind me that it is odd to have to find time to do friend things. I'm sure he's not too happy with it either. However, I have always hoped and wanted for my best friend to branch out and meet more people. Even if Ore-sama is the greatest person in the world, and I am...Munehiro needs more friends that just myself. And he knows this, so I am not even going to try and private this or hide this. He knows that I want for him to branch out.

But I digress. Lexi is getting very good at fetch. He's getting really big too. Only a year or so old, still a puppy, and already he weighs 80 lbs. He's going to be a huge, glorious dog. Perhaps he is large enough now, that I can take him to the stables and introduce him to the horses. I think he would like going on runs while I ride. I know he likes going on runs with me when I am on foot.

However, it was rather strange. It I had the strangest feeling while I was out there. But I think perhaps it was just my immagination.

Happy birthday

Yuushi, I hope your day was a good one. Ore-sama's gift is stomach pills for your boyfriend's gift to you.

Also Mother says that she had a gift for you as well. I am sure you've already gotten it. She was sorry she couldnt' make it herself, but Paris called and mother jetted off again. I beleive she and father will be back for New Years...perhaps.

To everyone at Hyotei...even you Chinen

I mean that. Thank you.

It was...well, it was wonderful. And that Mother was there...I don't know how you managed with that with her busy schedule... But I am grateful.

Again.

From the bottom of my heart

Thank you

Today, I think I'm going to go to the club and set the mashine on high and see if I can't beat my old score in terms of balls returned.

full of awesome
I wish to invite everyone to a function to be held he 4th of October. That being my birthday party. As it is a Friday, I have plans on making it the weekend. The plan is the attendees will meet at my house on Friday. There, they will be driven out to my own private yacht. We will then sail south and reach a nice southern island hotel. We will stay there until Sunday, when we will sail back. We should reach land and you shall be driven back to your respective homes Sunday evening.

There will be fine food and entertainment abord the yacht and there will be any things to do on the island. Ore-sama knows he will be fishing. and playing tennis I hope everyone can attend.

ooc: I lost count so either this is Sweet 16...or this is 17...

First of all, I see some have these little internet traiding cards going around. Ore-sama also has one, but it is super utrla rare, holographic and must be kept in a safe place as an investiment for the future. like most of Ore-sama's first edition comic books and other such collectables...

Another investiment for the future. In the future, I think I wouldn't mind sharing my box with Sanada on more occasions. He is surprisingly good company at such classical concerts. Perhaps at some point, I will invite Sanada and his signifigant others to an opera or some other such event.

It would seem that Federer got dethroned at the Open. I say it's about time. I also say that I have never, in my life, seen such poor sportmanship upon the part of a tennis player. Though Ore-sama pays little attention to the women, I couldn't fail to notice this. One of the William sisters reacted in a way unbecoming to an athlete. She was over the service line. It was a fair call. Such a demonstration as the one she made, throwing a fit and breaking a racket...these are not the marks of a true athlete. Ore-sama thinks they should throw the book at her.

Gakuto. Ore-sama wishes you a happy birthday. I hope you have a good one and I hope you enjoy your gift.

ooc: pretend I did this a day ago...I was in Wisconsin at Army Drill and couldnt' post of the actual date. And...for Tifa-- Atobe got Gakuto whatever you want him to have. Money is of course, no problem</strike>

Behold my revenge

Chinen, Ore-sama hopes that you have learned your lesson. If you have not, I can certianlly make it so that it never goes away. And such a punishment would be a waste of a rather decent tennis player to the annals of sleep deprovation. But be well aware that such a thing can indeed happen again the proceed accordingly.

Also, my address to the school went accordingly and now I must settle down into my normal routine. There is much to get done as class president and little time to do it in before my term is up and elections happen once again. Not that I'm worried. With my track record, I'll be president until I graduate. with that in mine, I and the treasurer will be going over the propsed budget for the next few days. So if you want your clubs funded...I will need your proposals promptly.

In other, non school news, Lexi is growing like a little weed. He is certinally a regal puppy indeed and is getting bigger every day. He has also decided that he likes chewing slippers... I will have to remedy that before he goes after Mother's Jimmy Choos...

A new semester

I hope everyone is prepared for a new semester. The acceletated courses we convinced the faculty to hold have gone over amazingly well. Just as expected coming from a great mind. And of course I mean myself there. Though Yuushi can come up with some interesting things when he tries.

And speaking of the lazy Osakan...I think I must owe him quite a few summer study sessions. A gentleman never renegs on his promises and I'm afraid an opertunity came up that I simply could not let pass me by. I'm sure everyone who follows European tennis knows it by now. I once more threw my hat, so to speak, into the ring of competors. and as expected, I had come back with the trophy in my age division. And with a great deal if respect for my fellow Japanese players. There was simply no challenge for me in Europe. Not one pressed me unto my natural form, and not one could hold up under Ore-sama's 5 or 6 hour long matches. Truly a pity. It was far too easy and I look forward to this year in Japan single match with Sanada or with Echizen is more than enough to make up for months of half-assed underskilled players.

Though, while I was there, I did pick up something new. Hyoutei will have another five star chef cooking in it's hallowed kitchens this year. Because the food had grown a tad boring and Ore-sama in his infinate cherity has decided to shake things up yet again.

Now, I must start writing my speach to address this years attendants. Because no year can start with a proclimation from the king.

Ore-sama has returned

France was amazing as per usual. I enjoyed the up-close and personal view of the French Open. It's always better in person than it is over the television. I enjoyed my time there very much. I spent some extra time there with mother. I would have perhaps stayed a bit longer, but school unfortunately needs my presnece to really work well. besides, with tennis in full swing, no pun intended, I need to be there for my team. It was a very nice mini-vacation and now I have to catch up on all the shcool work I missed.

tennis, the French Open, and more tennis

  • May. 27th, 2009 at 8:04 PM
my icon, behold
Sanada, Ore-sama knows this is belated, but perhaps next time we have a match, perhaps it would be better than we take it indorrs. As this time, weather decided that we not finish. The weather had called for clear skies. How was I to know there would be such a massive electric storm. Next time, Sanada, next time. We will play and we will finally finish it and I will win.

And talking about tennis... Ore-sama has succured tickets to the French Open. It's already started, of course. But school and the team come first. I have been watching it on television, but I am going to watch the finals from Paris. June 7th is the last matches. I wonder if Jirou would like to come to Paris with me for the finals of the French Open. I can translate what the announcers are saying.

The famed red clay of Roland Garros makes Ore-sama wish to find his own clay court and play upon it. Because clay is a creature it and of itself. It would be a test of my metal and my skill to see if I can still dominate on a surface such as that.

Behold, popular even in Russia

King!
My my. This is quite a pleasent surprise I found today. I was just about to update this journal after a while of being far too silent for my own good and look what I find. I find people have friended me all the way from Russia. I think they are business associates of my father. I don't know why in the world they would want to keep tabs on me and my doings. I suppose it's because father is getting on in years. We have a sort of curse on the family, if you beleive such things. No Atobe male has lived past fourty. I think grandfather died from a massive heart attack brought on by stress. And father will be turing that most dangerous of ages next year. I wonder if that is why I have been getting more and more work from him to do in my spare time. Because he is afraid.

Ore-sama is not afraid of such things. I don't beleive in things like curses. I will live to be very very old. I will live healthy and happy with Jirou with everyone else until we are all old and very very grey and wrinkly and playing tennis with walkers. And honestly, I've been ignoring most of the work sent my way for the most part because I have other more important duties to perform. Duties as buchou of the team and president of the counsel and as a boyfriend to Jirou. I will eventually get it all done. That's what weekends are for after all. When weekends aren't tourniment weekends.

Happy Birthday

Jirou. Happy Birthday. You'll find a box of pocky for every year you;ve been alive plus a few extra things. Also, Ore-sama will give you a very special present in the buchou office.

It would seem that there is a cult movie buzz at school. I find it detestable and grossly inenegant to shout at a movie screen and throw toilet paper at it. And I also see little point to wearing women's underwear, in public or private or in any situation what so ever. This however, is only my thoughts on this and I would hope those going injoy wallowing in their respective depravity. I, on the other hand, will spend tonight at home making arrangements for a special day tomorrow. A very very special day.

Jirou, since I know you will most likely wish to spend tomorrow with your siblings and your family, I thought that perhaps I could throw you a small celebration at the school. Perhaps I can convince the teachers to let the two of us out early so that we can have lunch together somewhere.

Behold, my proof

A certain gangly fool say it fit to question the existance of Ore-sama's childhood. Thus he spent some of his valuable time rooting though old photo albums to find proof. Time I could have spent studying or practicing piano or doing tennis or relazing with Jirou.

But here it is. Proof that I indeed had a childhood.

I was as amazing then as I am now, don't you think.

[ooc: Chinen hit a very...sort spot with Keigo in one of his comments, thus this post. He is aware that being a child does not equal having an actual childhood...but with Atobe, it's as close he's gonna get...plus I think the picture is cute]

It seems my greeting address to the student body went as expected. They were all sufficiently awed by my voice, na Yuu-chan. And yes, I do realize that by calling you that in front of the entirety of the school, I am hoping that it grows like wildfire. Ore-sama is sure that by the end of the week, even the teachers and other assundry staff will be alling you thusly. And I will endevor to make arranglements for daily studying at the summer manner over next break.

And now onto other important business. Chinen...you finally see the power I hold within the school. I hope this serves as a lesson to you. As for lessons. already the work is pilling up, as I expected it would. The new excellerated learnign path however, is far more to my liking. I don't have to waste my time waiting for others to catch up to me. I can go at my own pase. I will be at the top of the class this year as well.

[ooc: actually, Atobe didn't have a hand in the classroom assignments. He's just messing with Chinen.]
